Woman Sentenced for Possession of Marijuana, Paraphernalia

COUDERSPORT – A Coudersport woman has been sentenced for possession of marijuana and related drug paraphernalia.

Potter County District Attorney Andy Watson said on September 22, 2010, State Police responded to a residence in Eulalia Township, after 32-year-old Michelle Neslon admitted to personnel from the Potter County Probation Department that she was in possession of marijuana, a pipe and a marijuana grinder. State Police were called after Nelson showed the items to the Probation Officer.

Nelson later pleaded guilty to the charges in court.

On April 13, 2011, Nelson was sentenced to 12 months probation, a fine of $200 and 25 hours of community service for possession of a small amount of marijuana. She was sentenced to a consecutive 6 month term of probation and a fine of $100 for possession of drug paraphernalia.
