Woman Sentenced to Life Plus 30 Years in Erie Collar Bomb Case
1 min readERIE – An Erie woman convicted of involvement in the bizarre case where a pizza delivery driver was killed after having a bomb strapped to his neck, will spend life in prison despite cries from the victim’s family that she was not responsible.
Sixty-two-year-old Marjorie Diehl-Armstrong was sentenced to life plus 30 years in prison today by a federal judge, after a family member of the victim told the court they had gotten it wrong.
Wells’ family continues to believe Diehl-Armstrong was the victim of manipulation, and that the real killers remain at large, a sentiment echoed by Diehl-Armstrong’s own remarks.
Not very often does the victim’s family attempt to help lessen the sentence for the defendant!
