Woman Suffers Moderate Injury in Crash

ULYSSES TWP. – A Ulysses woman was taken to Charles Cole Memorial Hospital and treated for moderate injuries following a crash on Route 449 Saturday, September 14.

Police say 55-year-old Shannon R. Snay was traveling northbound, approximately 1.6 miles North of the intersection with Route 6, when she failed to maintain control of her 1995 Suzuki while negotiating a curve in the roadway.

Police say Snay’s Suzuki tipped onto its side impacting with the roadway.

Snay was charged with not driving at a safe speed as a result of the crash.
