Bradford Woman Stole Hallock’s Purse, Bought Crack

BRADFORD – A Bradford woman has been accused of stealing landlord Edna Hallock’s purse, and then using the money to buy crack-cocaine.

Court records show that 28-year-old Bridgette Housler stole the purse, which contained approximately $3,000, from a Bradford business on February 7.

Housler then allegedly spent the money on a hotel room in Erie, crack-cocaine, gas, and her rent.

She is currently incarcerated in the McKean County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bail.
