VIDEO: Byler Takes First Place in 2011 God’s Country Marathon – ‘Linked-Team’ Sets World Record

Christian Byler, of Rochester, NY took first place in this year’s God’s Country Marathon with a time of 2.50.19.

This was his 8th time competing in the marathon.

He previously took first place in 2008.

Also, five New York City-based runners broke the Guinness World Record for the ‘Fastest Marathon by a Linked Team’, breaking a previous record of 3.38.24. (we’ll have more information on this in a later article)

That previous record was set by 5 runners at the Flora London Marathon 2008, in London, UK, on April 13, 2008.*
