Clinton County Bank Robbed by Armed Woman

CLINTON CO. – Authorities in Clinton County are searching for a suspected female bank robber. Police say an armed woman walked into the First National Bank on East Main Street in Loganton yesterday afternoon, displayed a handgun, and then gave a teller a note demanding money.

Authorities believe the woman escaped in a maroon SUV after exiting the bank and running up Route 477. It is believed she may have two male accomplices, who were awaiting her return in the SUV.

The woman is described as white with blonde hair, wearing a light blue shirt, blue jeans and a tattoo with the word “love” on the left side of her neck.

News of the robbery comes just days after a woman was arrested in connection to a bank robbery in Olean, NY.

Police say the woman and her two suspected accomplices should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery or the whereabouts of the suspects should contact State Police in Lamar at 814-726-6000.
