Coudersport Library 5K Race & Fun Run Building Benefit

The Coudersport Public Library is holding a 5K Race and Fun Run to raise money for building a much needed new library.

All monies raised go toward a new public library for Coudersport.  The Coudersport Public Library has completely outgrown a 60-year-old building that was put into service as a library in the 1970s.  While extensive renovations transformed a former skating rink into a library facility that has served the community for more than 30 years, the cost of the major renovations and an addition to meet the needs of our patrons would nearly equal the cost of a new building.  For this reason, the Library Trustees have decided to embark on a fundraising campaign to build a new library.  A new facility, designed as a 21st century modern library, will be engineered to be energy efficient and fully handicapped accessible.  Be a part of making the Coudersport Public Library a thriving and vibrant community resource.
