A former Eldred firefighter has pleaded guilty to two of three counts of arson lodged against him.

39-year-old Scott McClain, of Eldred, pleaded guilty to the arson charges yesterday in McKean county court.

McClain was charged with setting fires at the Eldred Township Fire Hall, which caused $300,000 in damages, the Eldred Borough Fire Hall, which caused $34,000 in damages, and a camp in Eldred Township.

McClain pleaded guilty to setting both fire halls on fire. He faces sentencing for those charges on February 10.

He still faces charges for the Eldred Township camp fire.
