A STRONG FRONT WILL USHER IN STRONG WINDS AND COLD AIR LATE TODAY. THE STRONG WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS WILL CROSS THE GREAT LAKES AND CAUSE LAKE EFFECT AND LAKE ENHANCED SNOW FALL THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING.

* LOCATIONS…THE NORTHWEST MOUNTAINS….ESPECIALLY THE SNOW BELT AND AREAS WEST OF WARREN.

* HAZARD TYPES…HEAVY SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS…4 TO 8 INCHES OF SNOW.

* TIMING…SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING.

* IMPACTS…SNOW WILL CAUSE LIMITED VISIBILITIES AND SLIPPERY TRAVEL. PREVIOUSLY WET ROADWAYS MAY BECOME ICY LATE THIS EVENING. STRONG WIND GUSTS WITH THIS SYSTEM WILL FURTHER REDUCE VISIBILITIES WITH BLOWING SNOW. WIND CHILLS WILL DIP BELOW ZERO ON TUESDAY.

* WINDS…WEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES…HIGHS IN THE 20S MONDAY AND IN THE TEENS ON TUESDAY.
