Man Faces Charges after Fleeing Scene of Accident

OLE BULL – A Harrisburg man will be charged in District Judge Delores G. Bristol’s courtroom after he allegedly fled the scene of a crash on Route 144.

Police say 31-year-old Matthew M. Fure was driving north on Route 144 when he lost control of his Chevrolet Malibu and hit an embankment, spinning around and coming to rest in the southbound lane of the roadway.

Fure is then accused of fleeing the scene of the crash without notifying police as required by law.

He faces charges for speeding, careless driving and failing to notify police of the accident.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by K&L Auto of Renovo, PA.
