Olean Man Sold Stolen Laptop for Drug Money
1 min readOLEAN, NY – An Olean man has been arrested after he allegedly stole an Eldred man’s laptop and then sold it for drug money.
Police say 21-year-old Eric Smith smashed out the rear window of a the man’s rental car, stole the man’s laptop, and then minutes later sold it for $100 to buy cocaine.
Smith was treated at Olean General for a hand laceration, and then taken to jail.
