PA Budget Passes Senate Unanimously

HARRISBURG – The State Senate passed the $28 billion PA Budget spending plan today with a unanimous vote of 37-13.

Democrats now look for Republican support to override the usual 24 hour waiting period and move the Bill to the House before a midnight deadline.

This may be the first time Governor Ed Rendell brings in the state budget before the next fiscal year, July 1.
