Rasmussen: Corbett 54% Onorato 40%

Republican Attorney General Tom Corbett continues to run well ahead of Democrat Dan Onorato in Pennsylvania’s gubernatorial contest despite a visit to the state by President Obama to boost Democratic candidates.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in the Keystone State finds Corbett with 54%, his best showing yet. Onorato, Allegheny County’s county executive, gets 40% of the vote. One percent (1%) like another candidate in the race, and five percent (5%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
Two weeks ago, Corbett held a comparable 53% to 41% lead. Corbett has led the race in surveys since February, with 45% to 54% of the vote. Onorato has earned 26% to 41% support in the same period.
