Senecas Donate $250K to NY Republican State Senators’ Campaigns

The Seneca Nation announced Monday, it is donating a total of $250,000 to the re-election campaigns of several Republican State Senators.
Seneca Tribal Council Chairman Richard Nephew tells WBEN, the economic policies supported by the Democratic majority in the State Legislature have been harmful to business development upstate, and specifically in WNY. The tribe believes the lawmakers it is supporting can help change that.
“We feel the business climate in New York State is in terrible condition, and we trying help out as best we can,” Nephew says. “We believe in supporting those candidates that we’ve made contributions to.”
