Spotlight Monday On Potter County Water Organization

tripledividelogogood1Potter County’s efforts to protect its public water supplies will be spolighted during a webinar to be held on Monday (Nov. 21) from noon to 1 pm. The program will focus on new Triple Divide Watershed Coalition and how it is working to team public water supplies for better water resource protection.

All 10 public water suppliers in the county have joined the coalition. One of its missions is to educate citizens and school children about ways to protect drinking water source areas from pollution. The coalition has also developed water test documentation and is looking into shared resources and bulk purchasing options. Presenter will be Penn State Extension Educator. Those planning to watch the webinar are advised to log on early, as the registration process can tak several minutes.
