Upcoming Courses Offered by Potter County Education Council

WordPress Course Offered at PCEC Coudersport

Potter County Education Council will offer a “WordPress Course” at PCEC Coudersport.  WordPress is a free, Web-based software program that anyone can use to build and maintain a website or blog. WordPress can be used to run full-sized, social media-rich websites.

Learn WordPress, the 21st century free web software that has over 385,000 users. Get hands-on training setting up your web site. Students must be experienced in personal computer use and web browsing. There are four main reasons why you should learn how to use WordPress to set up a new website: (1) WordPress designs are based on “Themes,” (2) WordPress software allows you to create and edit new web pages and blog “posts” using only a web browser, (3) The blogging features in WordPress allow you to update your website/blog frequently,  (4) There are many more features of a WordPress website or blog that make it much better than a traditional “static”, “brochure-style” website.  This two part course will be held on Thursday, June 2nd and 9th from 6 – 9 p.m.  Cost for the course is $69 per person.  To register for this class, visit our website at www.pottercountyedcouncil.org or call 814-274-4877.
