Tuesday, June 22
Upper Pine Creek Council of Government Variance Board
The Variance Board meets monthly on the fourth Tuesday, 6:00 pm in the Smithfield, Pa. Catholic Church Fellowship Hall. The Board, sanctioned by the State of Pennsylvania, hears cases by individuals (homeowners) and/or businesses where Building Code Officials are requiring certain actions that are being disputed. Whereas the Building Code Officials are mandated by law to go by the intent of the written code, the Board has powers to grant variance to the code in certain instances. Anyone interested in requesting a hearing with the board could contact Byron Salsman, 814-203-7046.

Annual Habitat For Humanity Golf Tournament
A four-person scramble at the Coudersport Golf Club with registration at noon followed by a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. Cost is $50 for members of the Golf Club and $70 for non-members and includes a steak dinner. Women in the Wilds Discovery Weekend
We’ve extended the registration deadline to June 11th!

Sinnemahoning State Park is offering a weekend filled with opportunities to learn new outdoor skills! Programs will include mountain biking, archery, kayaking, outdoor photography, GPS/geo-caching, fly-fishing, camp cooking, turkey hunting, and many others. Participants may choose up to ten different sessions over the three days of the event.

Grab your mom, sister, best friend or co-worker and join with us and other aspiring woods-women for a new adventure in the heart of the Pennsylvania Wilds!
