* PRECIPITATION TYPE…SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS…AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 3 INCHES ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST HALF OF THE COUNTY…WITH UP TO 5 INCHES OVER THE NORTHWEST SNOW BELT.

* TIMING…LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY TONIGHT. * WINDS…NORTHWEST AT 15 TO 20 MPH. GUSTS WILL REACH 30 MPH AT TIMES.

* IMPACTS…SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY ROADS. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES…AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING. MOTORISTS SHOULD BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES…WHERE SLIPPERY SPOTS DEVELOP FIRST.

THIS WILL CONTINUE TO GENERATE SNOW OF VARYING INTENSITY THROUGH TONIGHT…ALONG WITH AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW. EXPECT ADDITIONAL MODERATE SNOW ACCUMULATION TO OCCUR OVER THE THE REMAINDER OF THE LAUREL MOUNTAINS TONIGHT.
