David Snyder Sentenced to 34 to 68 Years in Prison
Judge hands down major sentence in Potter County cocaine trafficking case
COUDERSPORT – On Wednesday, Potter County Judge Stephen Minor sentenced David R. Snyder, of Whitesville, NY to a total of 34 – 68 years in prison for his role in what was labeled a multi-million dollar cocaine trafficking ring in Potter County, PA.
In October of this year Snyder was convicted of 9 counts related to trafficking of cocaine and other related offenses.
Snyder was also ordered to pay $175,000 in fines and court costs.
A spokesman from the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office told CoudyNews this was a major drug trafficking network which resulted in a major sentence. The spokesman said the sentence should send a clear message to anyone considering the drug trade.
The case was specially handled by the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office and Prosecutor Patrick F. Leonard. Snyder was represented by Attorney Joseph M. Marasco.
