Elmira Man Charged With Aggravated Assault in Coudersport
EULALIA TWP. – Court records show that Jamel A. Lawson, 33, of Elmira, NY, was charged with Aggravated Assault(F2), 2 counts of Simple Assault(M2), Harassment and Disorderly Conduct Engage in Fighting.
Lawson was arrested and arraigned in District Judge Delores G. Bristol’s courtroom yesterday, October 31 at 11:30 am. He was released on $15,000 unsecured bail.
Although there has been no official news release from police regarding the incident at the Northwood’s Tavern on Saturday night, we believe these charges stem from that altercation.
A Preliminary Hearing has been scheduled for Thursday, November 4 at 3:00 pm.
