Morley To Chair Executive Board At Northcentral

Potter County Commissioner Doug Morley has been elected chairman of the executive committee of Northcentral Pa. Regional Planning and Development Commission. The Ridgway-based agency provides economic development, workforce training, community development and other services in a six-county region. Morley, a banker for more than two decades prior to being elected as a commissioner, has been involved in Northcentral’s operations for many years. He has served as chairman of the Potter County Board of Commissioners since 2008. Prior to that, chaired the Potter County Redevelopment Authority for many years. He succeeds McKean County Commissioner Joe DeMott as Northcentral’s executive committee chairman.
