PA Releases Mentally Challenged into Community
HARRISBURG – Starting in the beginning of July, the State of Pennsylvania will begin releasing mentally disabled people into the community.
A federal judge recently declared the Department of Public Welfare was violating the Americans with Disabilities Act by not instituting a plan to get people out of state facilities and into the community.
