COUDERSPORT, Pa. — Timothy HEWITT, 64, of Kennedy, NY, has been charged with multiple offenses, including Aggravated Assault, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Officer, and Resisting Arrest, following a traffic stop on US Route 6 W in Roulette Twp, Potter County, on July 6, 2026, at 0047 hours.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police Public Information Release Report, HEWITT was involved in a traffic stop with PSP Coudersport, during which he allegedly struck a Trooper and was subsequently tased. HEWITT then fled the scene, leading to a pursuit that spanned from Roulette Twp, Potter County, to Eldred Borough, McKean County.
