Westboro Baptist Church making Local Headlines

The Westboro Baptist Church, known for picketing soldier funerals, has announced their intentions to picket the funeral of Army Sgt. Devin A. Snyder; a solider killed in Afghanistan. Snyder was one of three killed by a roadside bomb in the Laghman Province in Afghanistan on June 4.
Snyder was a 2008 graduate of Wayland-Cohocton High School.
The funeral is this Saturday, June 18, in Wayland, NY and the family has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend. The group has been actively involved in shielding families from Westboro Baptist Church protesters in the past.
Friends of the family are asking the public to join them by registering on the Patriot Guard Riders of New York website, and then attending the funeral.
A group organizer said those wishing to support the Riders must register at the website before attending funeral, to prevent from being kept at a distance with the protesters.
Westboro Baptist Church…. Without these men and women who give thier lives for our freedom as well as others ( I mean you all ). These folks are mourning the loss of thier loved one. Your actions provoke anger and you are definitly not showing God’s love. Be careful, I sure would hate the wrath of God to come upon you! Your wrath is not justified, but God’s is…….It won’t be pretty!!
These people do not represent Christ our Lord, they represent religion. The only intolerance Christ and His disciples taught was intolerance of sin in YOUR own life.
THIS GROUP OF PEOPLE IS INTITLED TO THEIR REASONING BUT THIS IS A CLEAR CASE OF HARASSMENT AND THEY SHOULD BE ARRESTED.
These people have lost someone very special to them. The people from the church make me sick!
